How many Real Estate agents have been successful selling their own personal homes?

I\'m not sure how many, I haven\'t heard of a whole lot of luck. I know that there have to be plenty out there! There are a lot of factors though. What market area are you in? Right now we have an increased inventory of homes. With so many homes on the market you have to be priced really well! This also depends on what price bracket you are in. My broker listed his home for sale, it sat for a while. His son convinced him to list with him and reduce the price. It sold a week later. ($625k) It depends on your motivation, to sell your home. I absolutely do not reccomend representing the buyer/ or allowing a buyer to purchase without representation from another agent. Be honest, price your home right and it should sell! Another lady I tried to list, had listed for two years, with 3 different agents. She went and got her real estate license and listed it herself. It originally was listed at $1.2M now $799k. It is still active, she has now had it listed for 89 days. I have also called Expired\'s, who responded I am an agent. Best of luck to you! Hope this helps.
